2 consecutive fantabulous nights!
Yesterday
Mr Big brought me back to our first date. Halia at Ginger Garden. After so long, this place still looks so romantic. In fact, it felt so much better this time. Maybe, it was the absence of the nerves or maybe it was just the cool weather that made last evening a much more wonderful dining experience.
He ordered the lamb shank. I ordered the lobster risotto and a lychee martini. We shared the chef's dessert. The food was much better than the first date.
It was a romantic evening. And I was glad he surprised me with this dinner. Sometimes it can be a good thing to leave the man to make the decision for a change.
Tonight
Dressed in a Hugo Boss suit, he stepped out of the elevator. My eyes lit up. I wasn't expecting to see him in such a smart outfit.
We walked towards the car. We chatted for a little while. We got into the car and he drove. I asked where would we be having dinner. He uttered the word. I was surprised. The truth was that I didn't want him to be splurging again. Not after last night's dinner at Halia. But he was driving and he insisted we head down to Oriental Hotel.
After 6 months, we were back at Morton's. We ordered our usuals. Me, a lychee martini, half a dozen of oysters and a serving of jumbo crab chunks. He had his huge but oh so delicious prime steak.

And of course, their delicious bread. I love it!
It was a lovely night with good food and a stiff lychee martini. The company was lovely. Thanks for everything.
I'll definitely miss you for the next few days. Please take care.
